The first District Meeting of the new year. Our Chairman, Julie Turner, is looking forward to welcoming you all to The Waie Inn, Zeal Monochoram on Wednesday, 25 September at 6 pm for a 6.30 pm supper.
If you haven’t already made your arrangements, now’s the time to get your heads together and share a car for a journey where you can catch up on all the news within your Club and then spend an hour or two with other members of District 17 in fun and friendship.
This is the start of Inner Wheel’s 90th anniversary and there is so much going on within our Association. Have all our Clubs taken up our Association President’s challenge of fundraising for something with wheels: pushchairs, wheelchairs, toys with wheels, bicycles, the list goes on. What a wonderful way to promote Inner Wheel. Wheels within Inner Wheel keeps our Clubs thriving and our 15 Clubs within District 17 are unstoppable when it comes to new ideas and real friendship, so I look forward to seeing you on the 25th when Julie can outline to you all what she hopes to achieve in this very special year.
